Which one of these best describes an organic compound??
1. Carbohydrates
2. Water
3. carbon dioxide
I understand that an organic compound is any chemical compound that contains carbon bonded to at least one other atom (usually hydrogen)
And isn't true that carbon AND carbohydrates contain carbon?? Or am I getting this mixed up..this is pretty confusing. Also I'm doing this in biology, but we're getting a basic foundation of chemistry.
Thanks in advance, though!
