Jamestown and Plymouth were both similar because both colonies struggled with starvation and other harsh conditions.
Both of these areas faced harsh and unfavorable climates. Some of the issues they both encountered were:
- They experienced hunger,
- Outbreak of diseases,
- and death.
After they got to these colonies, they had issues settling in the first years. It was difficult getting their source of food and also they had issues with accommodation because they couldn't erect houses for living.
