A tundra is a type of a biome which is characterized by low temperatures due to which there is a short growing season.
The tundras are basically of three types arctic, Antarctic and alpine.
The Tundra also has a very characteristic feature of having permafrost and hence the plants and animals found in these regions are adapted accordingly.
Pangolins are scaly anteaters which prefer to stay in burrows in the soil or in the trees and since both of these habitats are not possible in the tundra pangolins are not found there.
