How much money terry has in the bank let us call it “y” and the “x” hours after work
So we can form an equation from what it’s given so we can say that :
y=14x+40
When x=0 , y=40
When y=0 , x= -20/7 —-> x has no meaning as x is bigger than or equal to zero
So when x is 3 that means he worked 3 hours and for y when it’s 82 he made 82$ in the bank
