What is Christianity?

The Christian religion, including the Catholic, Protestant, and Eastern Orthodox churches. It is a  religion based on the person and teachings of Jesus Christ.

What is Holy Communion?

It occurs when you and God unite via Jesus Christ. The ultimate form of prayer is the Mass (or divine liturgy). The first step is to hear God's word through Scripture. This starts the process of praying and reaching a state of concentration. Then, you should enter a contemplative phase in which you seek greater closeness with God by offering your joys, incurred injustices, pains, and shortcomings to Christ, uniting these sufferings to Christ's sufferings on the Cross, as the Mass truly is the One True Sacrifice on the Cross re-presented. You and Christ both make sacrifices. As St. Paul said: “Offer yourselves as a living sacrifices…this is true worship.”

What is the main purpose of the Holy Communion?

The main purpose of the Holy Communion is to unite with Jesus Christ our God.” He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him” (John 6:56)

By uniting with God, our sins will be forgiven and we will inherit eternal life as He said “ Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day” (John6:54)

"Man is what he eats," as the common saying goes. You should consume nutritious food if you wish to live a healthy life. If you wish to be like God, consume His flesh and blood. Becoming like God does not imply being a God, but rather having a heart like God's heart, being loving, kind, patient, and serene... Who wouldn't want to be this?

Every day, the world pollutes our senses, dragging us into a never-ending cycle of anxiety and sorrow. We require Holy Communion to cleanse ourselves and restore the image that God bestowed upon us.
