Background - So over the course of my World History class, we have been given a bunch of information about WWI and WWII. For our final, we have to write about the TWO main causes of BOTH wars and out of the M.A.I.N causes, (militarism, alliances, imperialism, and nationalism) I chose militarism and alliances. I would LOVE a strong intro for this essay but I really can't find the words so could someone help me and give me a starter?

Answer:Militarism and alliances played a huge role in both world wars. Alliances originally formed to ensure peace hastened quickly as a result to chain reactions with more countries getting involved. Where as militarism contributed with countries like Germany and Britain in competing for the largest navy as well as the development of stronger more advanced weapons.
