If you were shown one photograph of pumice and one of granite, how could you distinguish between the two rocks?

Respuesta :

Well, Pumice and granite are about as different as a chipmunk and a jar of bacon fat. Pumice is a rock that is filled with small little holes. I don't know if you ever felt one of them before, but they ain't exactly smooth (matter a fact, that's what makes them special. They're used to peel dead skin. Especially good for bunyons). Granite's real smooth and gotta salt-n-pepper type look to it. Pumice is egg shaped, where granite is a little rocky. That's about all I got...you should look at em yourself if you need a little extra help. I hope I helped ya!
