DNA isolation is a process of purification of DNA from sample using a combination of physical and chemical method while on the other hand, Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) is a technique used in molecular biology to amplify a single copy or a few copies of a piece of DNA across several orders of magnitude, generating thousands to millions of copies of a particular DNA sequence.
The right order is mentioned in the picture.
PCR is the acronym for Polymerase Chain Reaction, a polymerization chain reaction. It is a technique of enzymatic amplification (Taq polymerase) which allows from a DNA fragment, to obtain a large number (several million) identical copies of this same fragment. This reaction is carried out in vitro. It is very valuable for fossil DNA studies because there is very little genetic material available.
