Blood transfusion can be defined as the process in which blood is being given to a person because the person has blood shortage so as to save the person life.

Autonomy of the client is the patient right to decide on  what he or she want when it comes to their medical treatment or the type of treatment they want without being influence by health practitioner.  

Therefore the client's decision must be followed based on Autonomy of the client ethical principle.
