   We can find the answer by graphing. See attached. The points at which the line intersects the different axes is the answer.

[Solution Two]

   We can solve by plugging into the equation. We will do this by setting the other variable, the one we aren't solving for, to 0.

For the x-intercept:

   y = −13x + 3

   (0) = −13x + 3

   0 - 3 = -13x + 3 - 3

   -3 = -13x

   [tex]\frac{3}{13}[/tex] = x

For the y-intercept:

   y = −13x + 3

   y = −13(0) + 3    

   y = 3
