What is cultural diffusion?

Cultural diffusion simply refers to the spread of the cultural beliefs, practices, religion, social activity and items such as clothes, food, music, etc., from a group of people living within a particular society to another.

This ultimately implies that, cultural diffusion has led to the establishment and spread of various religions such as Islam, Christianity, etc., in different African countries, especially through colonization.
