My answer: DNA analysis can reveal whether the species is related to any other living organism on the planet. And also count the number of mutation between them to figure out whether the species are related.
2. In 1973, biologist Theodosius Dobzhansky wrote an essay titled “Nothing in Biology Makes Sense Except in the Light of Evolution.” Why is evolution so important for understanding biology? Explain your answer in 1–2 sentences.
My answer: Without evolution, there would be no explanation for why the organisms/species have the behavioral, physical, and physiological characteristics or traits that they do.
