The Declaration of Independence speaks of a divine creator and the Declaration of the rights of Man speaks of a Supreme being and only the declaration of man expresses the idea of enlightenment.
Further Explanation:
The declaration of rights of man was sent by the national constituent assembly of France in year 1789 and this acts as the document of civil rights for humans from the French Revolution. Declaration of Independence was a pronouncement which was adopted by the Second Continental Congress meeting that took place in Pennsylvania state house in year 1776.
The Declaration of the Rights of Man and the Citizen was drafted by Abbe Sieyes and Marquis de Lafayette with the consultation of Thomas Jefferson and it was influenced by the doctrine of ‘Natural Right’ and states that the rights of a man are held to be universal which should be valid during all time at every place whereas declaration of Independence states that all men are created equal and they are endowed by the Creator and also provided some unalienable rights which were right of life, liberty and happiness but it is only the Declaration of man where the idea of Enlightenment is expressed.
