Question

Does anyone know anything about hamsters?!? My sister just got a Syrian hamster recently and from the beginning we knew it was very small for it's breed (Syrian hamsters are the largest domesticated breed of hamster) It's eyes are matted shut and everything we (my mother and I) have found says to take it to the vet but there isn't a vet around here that will treat an animal as small as a hamster. Not really sure whether to tell her or not. Not really sure what to do... PLZ HELP

I would do some more research and see if there are any formulas that can be homemade, my old hamster was sick we took her to the vet and she got formula but it did not help, we did clean the cage very very well and it seemed to help very much also she got better.
