Answer but i think his plan was a relatively good one because it worked in the long run because they got away safely but the plan was to steal the keys from uncle silas unlock jim then immediately leave on the raft to safety. and it worked till they got to the raft and they saw a group of men looking for slaves, and in order to hide jim he said he had small pox and the men stayed clear. so yes his planned in the end worked out great
