The foreign policies that Stresemann implemented and devoted his political career to helped to bring about the international and economic rebound of Germany in the 1920s. Stresemann ended the hyperinflation that was seemingly rampant in Germany by calling of the Ruhr worker's resistance. He also devoted his whole time in office to revising the Treaty of Versailles and opening Germany to international peace. His opposition to the treaty helped to revise the sanctions and limitations on Germany. He also maintained a good relationship with the Soviet Union and signed the Treaty of Berlin which was a Soviet-German non-aggression pact. In short, Stresemann and his dedication to the restoration of Germany and oppostion to the Treaty of Versailles helped to restore Germany to a more prominent stature in Europe.
