PLS HELP!.... a garden has more daisies than roses, and there is at least one rose. Let r represent the number of roses and let d represent the number of daisies. Let's compare the expressions 3r and r + d. Which statement is correct? Choose 1 answer:
A 3r>r + d
B 3r C 3r=r + d
D There is not enough information to tell.

Respuesta :

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

since  d > r   , becasue more daises, than roses,  we know that the answer must also reflect this logic.

A is  3r > r+d ,   can't be true, b/c with one rose,  the amount of roses + daises would be 3, and then 3r = r+d    so A is wrong

B is 3r ??? we don't have an equation or inequality to solve.

C  3r = r+d,   this could be true if r=1  and d=2  and would also be correct for all the requirements.   C seems true,

D Also,  for the teacher that wrote this,  " compare expressions"  means there are zero equal signs ,   expressions are with out equal signs,   equations have them,  as does C  :/   This teacher doesn't know what they are talking about.  >:/

Answer: D: not enough information

Step-by-step explanation: if there is 1 rose than there CAN be 2- inf amount of daises so none of the expression work.
