Would the tide be higher when the moon is on the same side of the earth as New Brunswick or on the opposite side? Why?

The tide will be higher when the moon is on the same side because the atraction is stronger. There is also a tide on the other side but not so higher, the atraction is wicker because the planet is between the moon and the tide.
