what is the acceleration(magnitude and direction) of the ball? does the ball slow down while falling? after 0.25 seconds how far has the ball fallen?

According to famous scientist Galileo's,all bodies falling toward earth with a constant acceleration of g=9.8m/s².so,if we ignore the air resistance,then the ball with fall freely with acceleration due to gravity “ g" . It's magnitude will be 9.8m/s². And it will be directed towards earth .)
