why do you think Hal, Mercedes, and Charles set out for the Klondike when they were so inexperienced? GIve at least 3 examples as to why they were unsuccessful
They're so inexperienced, because they're arrogant and believe that they have what it takes to survive in the icy wilderness. As it turns out they couldn't be any more wrong.
