The treaty had taunted Germany for many years, even till today they are paying their debt. But thanks to policies such as the Young Plan (US loaning) Germany's reparations lessened. But in saying so, Germany was still in the time of hardship and desperation in times between WWI and WWII. Because of this, they turned to anyone who they believed would restore peace and prosperity in their society once again, hence, living in harmony and be proud of their culture...so came Infamous Hitler lol...Anyways, he did a lot of things which did not align with the Treaty of Versailles. In 1936 Hitler was involved in the Spanish Civil War; and in that same year, Hitler sent his troops to the Rhineland - which is full of natural resources (gold, steel, nickel, coal & etc). The Rhineland was later given to Hitler, by the allies, under the Policy of Appeasement. This temporary alliance allowed for Hitler to deface the Treaty of Versailles further, hoping to win back the war lost, and hopefully restore and improve a better fundamental German society.
I hope this helps. :)
