Respuesta :

The only force being acted upon it is gravity. A ball that was thrown downward off a building isn't in freefall, because it had initial velocity. A piece of paper can't necessarily be in free fall because it is affected by air resistance.

An object in free fall motion would move only under the effect of the gravitational force, the weight of the object would be zero in other words object would have weightlessness while free fall motion

What is gravity?

It can be defined as the force by which a body attracts another body towards its center as the result of the gravitational pull of one body and another, The gravity varies according to the mass and size of the body for example the force of gravity on the moon is the 1/6th times of the force of gravity on the earth.

An object falling in a vacuum is susceptible to only one external force, gravitational force, which is quantified as the object's weight. Free falling is the term used to describe an item that is solely moving in relation to the force of gravity, and Newton ’s second law principle of motion is used to describe this motion.

Thus,An object in free fall motion would move only under the effect of the gravitational force,
