There were evidences that Caesar would get to a point where he would abuse his powers as the ruler. This is because Caesar had been seen to commit some actions in the past.

Why Brutus killed Caesar

Although Brutus had perpertrated this act because he felt it was the best thing to do, it was a wrong move from him.

He is a murderer, and there is no justification for taking a life in any case especially in a situation where no wrong has been done.
