Polar bears are animals that are suitable to survive in the harsh climatic conditions of tundra biome. They are adapted to survive in freezing snow, exhibiting in tundra biome. They are large terrestrial mammals. They have thick insulated fur, which covers warm fat layers. Fur is also present in the bottom of the paws, which protect against cold surfaces and provides good grip on ice surface. The bear white coat camouflage the snow, useful to hide and hunt of pray in snow in winter month but not helpful in summers.
