Nature and Nurture
Nature is what we think of as pre-wiring and is influenced by genetics and other biological factors.
Nurture is often considered to be an influence on external factors after pregnancy, e.g., product exposure, health experiences and individual learning.
The terms nature/nurture apply to many areas in psychology are in the following ways:
Intelligence - that also depends on your definition and metrics. The "IQ" test misses a lot of energy, and what is identified does not need to be used in real life. However you can say that "Nature" - genetics - puts potential. However, a good education can produce excellent results.
Development - without physical symptoms, this is mainly influenced by "Nurture" - how a person is trained and settled.
Personality - another vague definition! Does our innate mental attitude affect our “personality,” or does it interact with others? Which one touches which one ??? Does a person have friends because of his personality, or does having good friends create personality?
Mental illness - another combination of potential genetic or physical harm, but many are the result of poor coping strategies. Here again you need to know a particular type to know if you are focusing on medical intervention or social assistance.
