The Romans made portrait busts that were kept in a bookcase type container within the home. The portrait busts were very idealized and perfected because the Romans in the Republic period preferred the Greek look of perfection.
I believe this is false. Unlike in Greece, Romans found more value in sentiment in imperfection, and emphasized realism more than they did idealism or perfection. :) good luck!!
