some good things is that he can get food easier and hunt faster but bad things are that they can kill you or just take advantage of you

The benefits of alliances are that it’s easier to get food and water aswell as more protection from the other contestants, however the downfalls are that you have to share any supplies you get therefore you get less then you did on your own and if they decide to turn on you you are easy to kill.
