Apply Hooke's law

$\\ \rm\rightarrowtail F=kx$

$\\ \rm\rightarrowtail mg=kx$

$\\ \rm\rightarrowtail 80(10)=0.120k$

$\\ \rm\rightarrowtail 800=0.12k$

$\\ \rm\rightarrowtail k=6666.67N/m$

• No spring constant remains same so spring won't be compressed.
