A car travelling at a constant speed of 30mls for20seconds was suddenly deccelerated when the driver sighted a pothole. It took the driver 6 sec to get to the pothole with a reduced speed of 18mls. He
maintained the steady speed for an other 10seconds to cross the pothole then the brakes where applied and the car came to rest 5seconds later.
