I’m currently writing a persuasive essay rough draft on the prompt: “Is the lottery a good idea?”
I’m trying to persuade the reader that the lottery is a bad idea. However, I don’t know how to go about the body paragraphs. I’m the roughy draft, we just need 3 paragraphs. So I did the introduction and now I’m yet to move onto the body paragraph and then the conclusion. Does anyone know how I could do my body paragraph? I’m struggling and my rough draft is already a few days late.. Please help!

Answer: When starting off your first body paragraph make sure you have key points stated in there from your plan. Try to keep the controlling idea or topic the same throughout your body paragraph. Towards the next body paragraph if you plan talking about a topic related to the lottery but different details use transition words. On the conclusion paragraph restate your thesis and summarize your essay. Hope this helps, good luck.
