Greenhouse gasses and extra carbon in the atmosphere. The actual cause is burning coal and fossil fuels. Mostly done by factories. Cars burning petrol. This causes a greenhouse effect in our atmosphere and heats up the earth like a blanket. Once these carbons and other gasses are suspended in air most of it stays up there or contaminates even more air!
