Tony loves collecting toy cars. He wants to write a story problem for his math assignment using the topic of cars, and 2/3 x 1/2 = as the equation. Help Tony write a story problem using the equation and topic he chose, and then solve it.

:  He could write the problem has

"Martha found 2/3 blue collectable cars. Marthas friend,Jamie found 1/2 collectable yellow cars. What is the product of the cars found?"

The answer would be 2/6. But simplifed it would be 1/3.

2x1 is 2

3x2 is 6

So the answer would be 1/6

2x3=6

And we know to multiply since Product means answer to a multiplcation problem
