Solution :-

Cost of the boat is 7200 and tax on it is 504. We can find the tax% as ,

→ Tax% = Tax/Cost *100

→ Tax % = 504/7200*100% = 7%

Hence the tax on boat costing 8000 will be ,

→ Tax = 7% of 8000

→ Tax = 7/100*8000 = 560

Hence the tax on the boat costing 8000 is 560.
