Explain what happened to the model’s tectonic plates. Did they move together or apart? Which type of plate boundary does the model represent? Describe the mechanisms and processes involved in their motion.

The plates move apart due to the convection current underneath, The model represent diverging plates. The right side of the container has a convection current thats turning clockwise, and the left side of the container theres a convection current turning counter clockwise.
