Osteoarthritis is the repeated use of a joint which gradually wears down

the articular cartilage.

What is a Cartilage?

These are soft connective tissues which are found between bones which

helps to ensure flexibility and reduce friction.

In most old people, these cartilages being to wear out thereby increasing

the friction between the bone joints. This leads to osteoarthritis which is

characterized by joint pain.
