Answer: (-2.57, 13.92)  and (-1.55,-3.1)

Step-by-step explanation:

All you do is plug 0 into each equation for x to find y.

y=5.4(0)+13.92

y=13.92

y=-2x-3.1

y=2(0)-3.1

y=-3.1  

Then to find x just plug 0 in for f(x).

0=5.4x+13.92

-5.4x=13.92

x=-2.57

0=-2x-3.1

2x=-3.1

x=-1.55

y=5.4x+13.92→(-2.57, 13.92)

y=-2x-3.1→(-1.55,-3.1)
