Hey Guys, I have a question regarding college applications.
If I take all regular courses throughout the year and continuously get honors or principals lists and take extracurricular activities, will I get into an ivy league school? Can I still have a poor sat score and not take any ap or honors classes? What about if I do take some honor courses along with regular courses and still achieve principals and honors lists?

Answer:

Wow you're quite ambitious! While I'm not sure about the whole principal lists and extracurricular activities, I can tell you that although you may have honors such as academic honors or stem honors, colleges don't really look at those. So for honors you don't really need them. As for your SAT scores you need at least a 1,590 or higher to get in. I would recommend AP classes and early college ones as well since they save you quite a lot of money. If you have any other questions you can look up "requirements for Ivy League Colleges - TheClassroom.com"  :) Best of luck!
