- The arteries helps in the delivery of oxygenated blood from the heart to the tissues to supply it with oxygen
- The capillaries have thin walls that allow oxygen, nutrients, carbondioxide and wastes to pass through.
The above functions of the kidney and the blood vessels are only possible through the type of tissue that is linning their surfaces which is the epithelial tissue.
