Human activities cause the emission of halogen source gases that contain chlorine and bromine atoms. These emissions into the atmosphere ultimately lead to stratospheric ozone depletion.
People have been putting harsh chemicals into the air so much that the ozone layer had a hole in it in the 1980’s due to mostly hairspray. The more chemicals are in products we use on a daily basis the more the ozone layer will get a whole again
