To calculate slope, or the m value in the equation
y = mx + b
We take the change in “rise” and divide it by the change in “run”.
So, take any 2 points and fill in the values in the equation
m = (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1)
m = (-6) - (-3) / (2) - (-4)
m = -3/6
m = -2
Slope: -2
