I believe the answer should be Option 1 The characters typically can’t hear a narrator or background music, but the actors can.

Characters usually don't hear the background music or the narration, so options 2 and 4 are wrong.

Im pretty sure the actors do hear the narrations and music tho so. should be option 1.
