Children do have different ways of comprehension. In a dynamic test, the difference between the items a child can answer alone and the items the child can answer with help is the child's zone of proximal development.

  • The zone of proximal development is simply known  as the difference that takes place between a child's real developmental level as gotten by self problem solving and the child's said/potential development as gotten through the aid of problem solving under adult guidance/capable peers.

This zone of proximal development shows the wide gap between what a person can do independently and what they can do with the help of other people.
