When you open a program, If there are no icons on the desktop we need to double click on the desktop to reveal the hidden icons.

- Select the Start button->and then select Settings->Personalization->Themes->Under Themes->Related Settings, select Desktop icon settings.
- Choose the icons you would like to have on your desktop and then select Apply and OK.
