Has anyone read the Night, elie wiesel? Help?
Which viewpoint is held by most of the Jews of Sighet shortly before the Germans arrive in Night?

They do not truly believe that the German goal is to annihilate the Jews so they try to continue living their lives as usual.

They are terrified because they know that the German arrival will mean deportation and death for many of them.

They are optimistic that the British and the Americans will arrive before the Germans.

They are ignorant of any danger the Germans pose because they are so isolated from the rest of the world.

Thank you for posting your question here at brainly. I hope the answer will help you. Feel free to ask more questions.

For anybody else who is taking the quiz it's

"They do not truly believe that the German goal is to annihilate the Jews so they try to continue living their lives as usual."

not "They are optimistic that the British and the Americans will arrive before the Germans. "

I read the book and i almost chose C because i was unsure but they never mentioned any British or Americans they only talked about there was no possible way that the Germans could kill them all.
