Looking at the image, there are several things that can be inferred. The first thing is that women during the early 20th century in America were willing to stand up for their rights and what they thought was best. By demonstrating for women's suffrage, they are putting their foot down and forcing men to understand the issues they are facing. The second thing I can infer is that those who were demonstrating were predominantly women of the middle class. Although we are unable to see everyone at the demonstration, we can see a few women with fashionable clothing and a powerful demeanor. This hints to us that they do come from places of some wealth.
