Yes children really need parents to develop normally. this is in the case of better mental health.

Who are parents?

In their own species, a parent is somebody who care for their children. In humans, a parent is someone who looks after a kid (where "child" refers to offspring, not necessarily age). A person whose gamete produced a child—a male through the sperm and a female through the ovum—is said to be the biological parent. The genetic match between both the biological parents is 50% and they are first-degree relatives.

A woman can use surrogacy to become a parent as well. Some parents may raise a kid via adoption even although they're not the child's biological parents. Grandparents or other families may raise orphans without adoptive parents. It is illegal for parents to voluntarily trade or sell their children for a profit.

What is mental health?

People who are in good mental health are able to deal with life's stresses, develop their potential, work and study efficiently, and contribute back to their communities. It is an essential component of health and wellbeing that supports our capacity to make decisions, develop relationships, and have an impact on the world in which we live. Access to mental health services is a basic human right. It is also necessary for economical, societal, and individual progress.

One component of mental wellbeing is the absence of mental illnesses. Individuals experience it differently, with varying degrees of difficulty and pain, and it can have a wide range of social and health repercussions. It happens along a convoluted continuum.
