The acceleration due to gravity of an object dropped on planet X is 8 m/s²

From the question given above, the following data were obtained:

Height (H) = 64 m

Time (t) = 4 s

Acceleration due to gravity (g) on planet X =.?

The acceleration due to gravity on planet X can be obtained as follow:

H = ½gt²

64 = ½ × g × 4²

64 = ½ × g × 16

64 = g × 8

Divide both side by 8

g = 64 / 8

g = 8 m/s²

Therefore, the acceleration due to gravity on planet X is 8 m/s²
