How to do in equation with this problem.
The Gonzales family has three children. On summer break they went to an amusement park they bought 3 child tickets for 18.50 and 2 adult tickets If they spent a total of 104.50 how much was the price of the adult ticket? (please include work in a simple yet understandable format)

So the answer is 24.5 for each adult. The way I did it was I multiplied 18.50 times 3 the number of children then I got 55.5 and then I subtracted that from 104.5 and I got 49 then divided by how many adults there was which was two then I got my answer 24.5
