In order to appropriately care for my skeletal system, I should consume a well-balanced diet that includes a range of foods and engage in physical exercise. Because nutrients are crucial, it is recommended to consume a well-balanced diet. Every day, a well-balanced diet should include grains, fruits and vegetables, nonfat or low-fat dairy products or other calcium-rich foods, and meat or beans. It is also essential to have three 8-ounce cups of low-fat milk every day. Specific strength- and weight-bearing exercises are essential for growing and maintaining bone mass throughout life. Because I am a minor, I must engage in at least 60 minutes of physical exercise every day.

The steps I can take in my everyday life to properly care for my skeletal system is to eat a diet with a variety of foods, including grains, fruits and vegetables, nonfat, in my case low-fat mom-dairy products that have calcium, and eat calcium rich food, I eat a lot of plant protein daily. I need to keep my bone strong since I am also still growing. My mother also teaches me that I need to do non-weight bearing lifting, like using the total gym with resistance bands and doing a HIIT workout with only my weight. My mother and stepfather do not drink or smoke
