Explain the irony in lines 60-69 in Act 3 Scene 5 of Romeo and Juliet

This is the part where Romeo parts from Juliet and her mother enters to tell Juliet the news about her marriage to Paris.

Line 60 - O fortune, Fotune! all men call thee fickle
Line 69 - Madam I am not well

Juliet shouts out 'fortune' but what she's really experiencing is misfortune. She adds that fortune as fickle intending to mock it hoping that there was some chance that the situation would change.
Juliet is caught crying and she tells her mother that she is not well which of course, is the truth but by telling her mother this, she covers up her misery.
